In order to make the hinged box more interseting- i decided to make it into a jewellery box which will contain a necklace with this pendant on it.

I designed a 'jacobs ladder' toy which had sdes that using the hinge concept would fold ontop of each other however I was unable to print this design.

For the multi material I designed a maze that has stacked acrylic layers and with a cut out maze within it that would have a small ball inside  and the user would have to rotate the cube around to get the ball throgh the maze

I first made the frame on Inventor and then transferred it to 123D Make to generate the sections of it that I then exported to Illustrator

This design tried kerfing to make a bend in the corners and the final side joins with the clips used in the wave object.
